This top secret tip will change your business. It is life changing. It will help you have a new vision. It will will help you get new clients. It will help you keep your eye on the prize. So what is this top secret tip? Setting goals.
“Wow, Erin. That was so lame. Setting goals? That’s it?!” Yup. But it’s not that easy. Let’s dive in and see how we can set goals and reach them.
What is your Why?
Why are you in your business? Why is it so important to you? Why are you working day in and day out on it? Are you doing this to help others, to get out of debt, or both? Think about your why.
Here is my why. I am in this business because I want to help people live happy, healthy lives. I want them to get rid of chemicals and see how amazing essential oils are. I want them to know there are alternatives to being healthy! I want to save one person from getting cancer. I want to see one person get healthier by removing chemicals from their home. I also want to get out of debt and be able to have my husband stay home so that we can raise our children together. I want my children to be able to grow up with a mom and a dad, not just a mom and dad who sees them an hour a day because they have to work all of the time. I want to have financial freedom and time freedom to be able to raise my kids, spend time with my family, share the love of Jesus, and help others do the same.
Stop reading right now, and write down your why. Keep this where you can see it every day!

When will you reach your Goals?
Next set real, reachable goals. At this point next year, where do you want to be? How much do you want to be making? How will you reach that goal?
For example, say that by this time next year, I want to be a Silver (fourth level) in my company making a full time income. How will I get there? By May I will be a solid Executive (third level in my company). I then have 9 months to reach Silver (February 2019). How am I going to do this? By holding two 101 classes, one speciality class, and one online class each month. As well as meeting with people one-on-one, making at least four YouTube videos a month and 12 blogs a month. Schedule these thing! Write them into your planner.
Don’t set a goal you can’t accomplish. If you don’t have the time to have four classes a month, then don’t say you are going to do four classes a month! How are you going to reach your goal?
Vision boards are the bomb! This is how you put your goals into action. Grab a piece of cardboard or poster board, cut out pictures from a magazine that show your goals, and make a pretty collage. Maybe you cut out a picture of the Bahamas to show your future vacation destination, or a picture of a child to show how you want to stay home with your kids. Get creative! Search “Vision Board Ideas” on Pinterest. Have fun!
