Yup! You heard me. Essential oils don’t work… by themselves. Essential oils are not a cure all. They are not meant to help you get healthy over night. A lot people believe that essential oil fanatics think they “cure” everything. It’s just not true! Essential oils are meant to supplement your healthy lifestyle.

If you are eating a bad diet, never exercising, still using toxic things in your home and your stress levels are through the roof, essential oils are not going to work for you. I think this is why so many people think they are scams. They use the oils, expecting them to fix every ailment, but when that doesn’t happen, they think they don’t work.
Essential oils are made by God, The Great Physician. He over anyone else, knows what is needed for the human body. Because of this, I can tell you they work and they work well! But not when you are filling your body with toxic chemicals and damaging foods.
Food is Medicine
Over many years of studying nutrition, I can confidently say that what you are putting in your body, determines your health. If you are filling your body with pizza and oreos, you are going to feel like garbage and your body is going to weaken. You won’t be giving your cells the nutrients they need! But if you are eating lots of fruits and vegetables and whole foods, then your cells are going to be healthy and happy! In turn, you are going to feel the same.

There is always a healthier alternative! You should also treat yourself every once in awhile. I love making a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies or getting some dark chocolate. It’s good to feed your soul sometimes!
You don’t need to pump iron or run miles in order to exercise. Just get outside and walk around the block! Most of us are indoor all day long. It’s good to get out, get some fresh air and sun and get moving.
